I believe that the 50/70 format for the 12 year old players has really helped in the development of the young player. I would still love to see the fences deeper so that outfielders learn to go back and then they must learn to use the relay with their throws.

What about starting to implement 55/80 for 13U to bridge the gap between 50/70 and 60/90? Will this catch on in the future?

It'll be tough I bet. My cost too much to re-do/build new fields, especially in this economy.

I agree with Coach Bradley, relays are so important in the game, move the fences back!
